To show thy wares...

We'd like to invite you to participate and be part of Sydney Winterfest 2007.

Sydney Winterfest 2007 is a medieval and 'historic' event being hosted in NSW as an alternative fair to others which have been organised from interstate interests, will be open to the public, and being held in the first weekend of the June/July School Holidays at Castle Hill Showgrounds.

The primary difference we have to other fairs is that being re-enactors ourselves, and working closely with broad interest groups, is that we have the support of the local community and professional performers who have an interest in making this one of the main events on an annual basis for the greater Sydney community.

armour anyone? As this is an initial event, we would like to extend an invitation to you as a special interest merchant at a discounted rate for the weekend, i.e. providing items that may interest re-enactors and the public with merchandise relevant to history and its study.

With the understanding that you also need to cover costs of having a stall and staff, we are keeping registration costs at a minimum, with the hope that you will join us for what is promising to be a successful weekend and annual event of fun and public entertainment.

To show thy skills...

We would also like to extend an invitation to local and regional re-enactment and historical clubs to participate in what we hope will become one of the premiere family events in Sydney.

With a jam-packed timetable of demonstrations and activities for all ages, we want to raise the standard on what this sort of event can become, and this will be an opportunity to show what you can do. As historical specialists and educators, the weekend event will allow your club or association to put on displays and show their best to the public.
