THE KNIGHTS OF NOVA HOLLANDIA
The knights of Nova Hollandia return to Winterfest Medieval Fair. See the knights upon their horses display their skill in the skill at arms display and be a part of the excitement of the joust. The knights of nova hollandia bring one of the most exciting events of history to today! Feel the ground shake as the horses gallop by, visualise yourself in the place of those brave knights and watch the jousting lances splinter on impact. It's a truly thrilling experience!
FULL FLIGHT BIRDS OF PREY

Full Flight Birds of Prey is a licensed education, breeding & tourist facility designed to educate and inform the public about Australia's unique raptors (Birds Of Prey). Falconry was used in medieval times both as a necessity for those that needed to catch food and also as sport by the wealthy who saw the sport and birds of prey as status symbols. See the power and majesty of these birds close up and see as well as learn about feeding habits, nesting and flying abilities plus many other interesting details.
ARCHERY

See the archery tournament and cheer on your favourite archer. Give archery a try in the archery range using bows of history. For the kids, orc hunting at the mini range is also available.
MEDIEVAL REENACTORS DISPLAYS

Several reenactor groups will be displaying their prowess throughout the day including bouts and authentic medieval weaponry displays as well as dance and music. Come and see first hand the excitement and beauty of the past.
MARKETS and STALLS

Take a moment for yourself away from the excitement of the days events and take a stroll through the market and stall area. Markets and stalls displaying medieval wares, arts and crafts and just what you were looking for will be available.
NINJAS
Oh and in case that was not enough for one weekend, there will be ninjas as well. As part of a joint venture with the Bujinkan Sydney Metro Dojos as well as other Bujinkan Dojos in the Sydney area ninjas will be around to help with any information you may need. There will also be traditional Japanese weaponry and ninjutsu displays. Never heard of Togakure Ryu? How about shukko? Ashiko? Kusarigama? Here is the place to go to find out!
