Sydney Winterfest is a medieval and 'historic' event being hosted in NSW as an alternative fair to others which have been organised from interstate interests, will be open to the public, and has moved to CULLODEN PARK, North Ryde from it’s beginnings at Castle Hill in 2007
The primary difference we have to other fairs is that being re-enactors ourselves, and working closely with broad interest groups, is that we have the support of the local community and professional performers who have an interest in making this one of the main events on an annual basis for the greater Sydney community. In 2008 the event saw numbers double to approximately 4000 visitors to the fair, with numbers set to increase again in ’09.
As this is an ongoing event, we would like to extend an invitation to special interest merchants, i.e. providing items that may interest re-enactors and the public with merchandise relevant to history and its study, including cultural foods, clothing, furniture, pottery and other gift ideas in the theme of the event
With the understanding that you also need to cover costs of having a stall and staff, we are keeping registration costs low, with the hope that you will join us for what is promising to be a successful weekend and annual event of fun and public entertainment. Further discounts are offered for merchants in medieval costume!!
Download an Merchant application form to be a special interest merchant or Merchant now, or for further information, contact the Event Co-ordinator between 10.30 and 5pm on 0409 596 949
