The Tourney Field

Members of all manner of fighting groups will challenge each other in single and bannered combats. Enjoy the finest of museum quality historical combat and re-enactment and see who wins the coveted tourney field champion.

Full Flight Falconry & Birds of Prey

A first for Falconry displays in NSW, Full Flight birds of prey display the arts of the Master Falconer and the skills of falconry used in Medieval life, but also work tirelessly for conservation and train and rehabilitate these most important birds.

Hear the clash of steel, feel the thunder of hooves, and see the shattering of lances! As our Knights of NOVA HOLLANDIA vie to win the title of Winterfest Tournament Champion!!

 Open for archers of all ages, the archery range will be having an open-for-all-clubs tournament for traditional archery, with prizes of traditional bows, quivers and other gear.

Test you skill in the dead-eye competition; see how many targets you can feather in the speed round; check your skills against the full archery and clout round or see if you too can split an apple in the William Tell challenge.

As a special for kids and young adults alike, there will also be a 'World Of Warcraft' inspired 'Hunt the Peon' and castle shoot... and a working Trebuchet!!!

THE MARKETS

Between the jam packed timetable, wander the merchant's stalls, as you visit a medieval market. See the finest in hand crafted jewellery and cloak pins locally made, traditional arts and crafts, cloaks and clothing for the lords and ladies, and Arms and armour for prospective knight, for both the young and young at heart. Enjoy food and drinks, visit the mystics and fortune tellers, and for the kids, we'll also have Pony rides for the wee knights in training and Jumping Castle for the energetic.
